The Search Engine That Cleans The Ocean

About 8 million metric tons of plastic are thrown into our oceans each year. 236,000 tons of these are known as microplastics– tiny pieces of broken-down plastic smaller than your little fingernail. The Great Pacific garbage patch already contains up to 80,000 metric tons of plastic with some of it being over 50 years old! Finding ways to combat these issues is vital if we hope to preserve the health of the oceans and the life it contains. OceanGo is a social search engine designed to help remove these plastics through your search queries. By displaying small text ads on the results page, we generate revenue to be sent to ocean cleanup operations.

Please note, we are currently still testing the site and making improvements - therefore ads are currently disabled until further notice.
